MARGAO
The Davorlim village panchayat has been adjudged the winner of the ICAI award for promotion of Accounting Reforms in local bodies in the year 2024-25 in the category of panchayats, sub-category, gram panchayats at National Level.
The award was received by Sarpanch, Sham M Rajadhyax and Secretary, Pradeep M Tamhanker at the hands of Arjun Ram Meghwal, Minister for Law and Justice in the presence of CA Ranjeet Kumar Agarwal, President ICAI, CA Kemisha Soni, Chairperson CPGFM, ICAI and other dignitaries at a programme organised by ICAI at New Delhi.
Sarpanch Rajadhyax said the Davorlim is the only panchayat to have received the award.
