Konkan railway, PWD, collectorate and other officials, who were drafted for the demarcation work, had made their presence felt at Seraulim on Wednesday, but the team returned back after they found the area covered with wild bushes.
Deputy Collector, Margao Uday Prabhudesai informed that the demarcation of the acquired will now he held on October 3.
He pointed out that the demarcation was scheduled today in order to find out whether the property acquired by the PWD has been encroached or not.
"Since the entire place was covered by wild bushes, the PWD official has
been told to clear the area of the vegetation before carrying out the demarcation on October 3," the deputy collector added.
