Dempo SC ripped apart Don Bosco Oratory 11-0 in the GFA U-14 league at St Cruz ground on Thursday.
Foley Dias scored four (9’, 14’, 18’, 22’), Stewart DeMello scored three (42’,61’, 70’), Fedrick Fernandes scored a brace (20’,62’) while Savil Cardozo (54’) and Desmond D’Silva (47’) scored a goal each for Dempo SC.
Dempo started the match on the frontfoot and a goalkeeper howler gifted the blues the first goal when Foley Dias’ shot was let in by the keeper.
Moments later Dias doubled the lead with a clean placement that gave no room for the keeper. Foley Dias then completed his hat-trick in style in the 22nd minute when the former headed Maximo’s cross beautifully at the back of the net.
Dempo led 5-0 at break with Fedrick and Stewart also scoring for the blues in the first half.
Crossing ends, Dempo went all out and scored six goals through Desmond D’Silva, Savil Cardozo and Stewart DeMello. Learoyd was instrumental for the blues providing assists for his teammates which also helped Stewart DeMello complete his hat-trick in the 70th minute after laying an inch-perfect pass to the star striker.
