Chief Minister Pramod Sawant on Sunday laid the foundation stone for several development projects in Sanquelim, including the beautification and landscaping of the Vaalvanti River front, at a cost of approximately Rs 8 crore.
Sawant said that the development of Sanquelim city is a top priority for the government. "We are committed to providing all modern amenities to the citizens of Sanquelim," he said. "It is the responsibility of every citizen to keep the city clean and beautiful."
The Chief Minister highlighted several development projects that are currently underway in Sanquelim, including the construction of a bus stand, municipal building, police outpost, swimming pool, indoor sports complex, and Ravindra Bhavan. He also mentioned that the widening of the road from Supachipud to Government Social Hospital is in progress.
Mayor Siddhi Prabhu said that the development of Sanquelim city is happening under the leadership of Chief Minister Pramod Sawant. "The Chief Minister has sanctioned several development projects for Sanquelim and their implementation is underway," she said.
River beautification
project
The Vaalvanti River beautification project was inaugurated by Chief Minister. The project includes the construction of a grand entrance, children's park, open garden, open gym, and walking track for citizens.

The Chief Minister expressed his satisfaction with the progress of Sanquelim city's development. He urged citizens to cooperate with the municipal authorities to keep the city clean and beautiful.
The inauguration of these development projects is expected to boost the city's infrastructure and provide a better quality of life for its residents.
