Don’t flirt with AAP: GVP warns Nelly

Ahead of the party executive committee meeting, the Goa Vikas Party is back again in the news with the party leadership clearly telling Nelly Rodrigues to stop flirting with the Aam Aadmi Party or other political parties and to take a call whether she wants to remain with the party or not.

Nelly, however, has denied that she has flirted with AAP or any other political party, but hastened to add that she is in the process of ascertaining the views of her supporters in particular and the people of Cortalim constituency in general on the question of joining any other political outfit.   
Party general secretary Lyndon Monteiro called on Nelly at her residence and is believed to have bluntly told her to stop flirting with AAP or other political parties. When The Goan called up Lyndon to know more, he confirmed having told Nelly to take a call whether to remain with the GVP or not.

Foreign currency amounting to `25.6 L seized at Dabolim

The Air Intelligence Wing of Goa Customs attached to Dabolim airport detained a native of Kasargod-Kerala and recovered assorted foreign currencies amounting to Rs 25.6 lakh in the wee hours of Wednesday.
