The Puja celebrations will commence with the arrival of the idol of Goddess Durga Mata on MahaPanchami day, on September 25 at 7.30 pm.
The idol will then be consecrated with all sacred religious rituals on September 26 with the ‘MahaShashti Puja' at 8.30 am. The formal inauguration is scheduled at 8 pm to be followed by cultural programme by renowned artists from Kolkata (West Bengal).
On September 27, a MahaSaptami Puja will be held from 9.30 am to 12.30 noon followed by Sandhi Puja be
tween 12 noon to 3 pm. Prasad and Aarati will follow this ritual. On September 28, a MahaAshtomi Puja will be held at 9 am to be followed by Pushpanjali and Sandhi Puja, Prasad and Aarati. The next day, September 29 will feature MahaNavami Puja at 9.30 am to be followed by Pushpanjali, Prasad and Aarati.
On September 30, MahaDasami, a Dasami Puja will be held at 10 am. The celebrations will draw to a close on Sunday, October 1 with Ekadashi --- where a Puja will be held from 10 am to 12 noon to be followed by Sindur Utsav and Bisarjan immersion procession at Sal river, Betul.
