Expo on Goan wildflowers
PANAJI: The Instituto Menezes Bragança will organise a three-day programme on the wildflowers of the Sahyadris from October 7, to commemorate World Wildlife Week.
Environmentalist Rajendra Kerkar is coordinating the three-day event which will involve lectures, training programmes and exhibitions.
Minister for Forest and Environment Rajendra Arlekar will be the chief guest.
Besides Kerkar, Suryakant Gaonkar will also be speaking about wildflowers of Goa.
Member Secretary of IMB, Gorakh Mandrekar said there will be a book released on wildflowers which will contain information about wildflowers of Goa.
