Fatorda PS in-charge PI Almeida transferred

In a sudden development in the Fatorda murder case, the in-charge of Fatorda police station PI Nathan Almeida has been shunted out from Fatorda.

While transferring PI Almeida from Fatorda to the Line department in the South Goa District police headquarters, Superintendent of Police Tikam Singh Verma has posted PI Ditendra Naik at the Fatorda police station.

In fact, PI Ditendra has assumed charge of the Fatorda police station late Saturday.

Sources in the know told The Goan that the transfer of PI Nathan Almeida is linked to the ongoing investigation in the Gogol Housing Board murder case.

The Fatorda police has so far arrested seven persons in connection with the murder case.
