Fire prevention inspection carried out at Basilica — Director of Fire & Emergency Services Nitin V Raiker along with fire officials carry out a Fire Prevention Inspection at Bom Jesus Basilica.

The Directorate of Fire & Emergency Services (DFES) on Saturday carried out a Fire Prevention Inspection at Bom Jesus Basilica, as part of efforts to prevent and suppress unwanted fires during the Novena and Feast of St Francis Xavier and to render prompt and efficient services.
Director of Fire & Emergency Services Nitin V Raiker along with fire officials carried out the Fire Prevention Inspection at Bom Jesus Basilica, the Temporary Control Room setup in the Courtyard, Pandal adjacent to the Catholic Enquiry Centre and the Candle Stand area.
The DFES has deployed 85 fire personnel on standby fire prevention duty during the Novena and Feast of St Francis Xavier.
