Chief Minister Pramod Sawant on Wednesday inaugurated Goa’s first STEM lab at Murgao School, Sada, in the presence of Mormugao MLA Sankalp Amonkar. The initiative aims to foster creativity, innovation, and a strong interest in science among students.
Speaking to the media, Sawant highlighted plans to expand STEM labs across various schools in Goa. “While this lab is set up here, students from other schools can also visit and benefit from it. We have already introduced coding, robotics, and provided free equipment to schools. This interactive panel-based STEM lab will be highly beneficial, and teachers should maximise its use for students. The government aims to set up more STEM labs in schools across Goa in the near future,” he said.
Mormugao MLA Sankalp Amonkar expressed gratitude to the CM for choosing his constituency for Goa’s first STEM lab. “We are proud that this pioneering initiative has been launched in Murgao School, Sada. It will be of great benefit to students,” he stated.
