I have been travelling for 20 hours to arrive in Goa and I am not much aware of the present political scenario
- Francis D'Souza
VASCO: Former minister and Mapusa BJP MLA Francis D'Souza returned from the USA and arrived at the Dabolim Airport on Wednesday evening, where he said he had a lot in his mind but preferred to be updated with latest political developments before making his thoughts public.
D'Souza arrived at the Dabolim Airport after his two-month long treatment in the USA and was brought out on a wheelchair amid police security. The frail looking former minister, who was in the USA when he was removed as minister by an ailing Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar, then left for his residence in Mapusa.
Speaking to waiting media persons, D'Souza said he had a lot in his mind but hastened to add there was no point talking without knowing the internal story.
"I have been travelling for 20 hours to arrive in Goa and I am not much aware of the present political scenario.”
“While I was in the US, I would only keep myself updated about the political scenario through news updates on Prudent TV and other news channels. I don't know the internal story. I am not aware of small details.”
“I will check for details on Thursday and will put forth my views to the media on Friday. I have a lot of things in mind but it is no point speaking or commenting without knowing the internal story," said D'Souza.
