Goa Forward Party’s candidate for Mayem constituency, Santosh Kumar Sawant on Sunday in Narve canvassing from door-to-door for the forthcoming assembly elections.

Sawant exuded confidence as he received tremendous response from all those he met, including traditional Congress voters and the youth who would be voting for the first time this February.

He and his team offered prayers at the historic Lord Saptakoteshwar Temple at Narve, the restoration of which has been neglected by the present BJP government and has disrespected the memory of Shivaji Maharaj by deliberately neglecting the much-needed restoration work. He said that completing this work would be one of his party’s top-most priorities after they come to power in March.
