PANAJI

Chief Minister Pramod Sawant said on Wednesday that the issues concerning doctors at Goa Medical College (GMC) are resolved.

Sawant was responding to a media query on whether any action will follow on the misdemeanour of Health Minister Vishwajit Rane who kicked up a huge row following the incident in which he was videographed rudely admonishing GMC's Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Dr Rudresh Kuttikar at the casualty ward last Saturday.

"I met and discussed the issue with the health minister before I tweeted about the GMC incident. I also met and discussed with him after my meeting with the doctors at GMC yesterday (Tuesday). The issue is resolved," Sawant said.

Speaking to media persons, he said he had discussed the matter with Health Minister Vishwajit Rane both before tweeting about the issue and also after meeting the doctors yesterday.
