The mortality bulletin of Covid cases released on Saturday recorded 10 more Covid-related fatalities in the state. All 10 deaths occurred at GMC, Bambolim with five persons succumbing to the infection in less than 24 hours of being admitted.
The youngest was a 28 year-old woman from Bardez who was suffering from Down’s Syndrome.
Others include a 42 year-old woman from Naroa-Tiswadi, 51 year-old man from Mandrem, 63 year-old man from Chicalim, 65 year-old man from Sada-Vasco, 68 year-old woman from Curca-Bambolim, 70 year-old man from Madurai in Tamil Nadu, 72 year-old man from Borda-Margao, and 2 males aged 82 and 84 years from Porvorim.
With the exception of 2, all others suffered from co-morbidities. With this, the total number of Covid-related deaths in Goa has touched 286.
