Registrations for International Yoga Day events in Goa have crossed one lakh.
Programmes were held across the State at multiple locations by various organisations and government departments. A total of 1,230 venues were registered by Patanjali Yog Samiti, NGOs and other groups. More than 80 programmes were also organised at party and constituency level. The Department of Sports conducted activities at 12 venues. The Department of Ayush supported yoga sessions at several locations across Goa.
Participation was reported from different parts of the State through organised events and group sessions. The scale of participation was among the highest recorded for the annual observance in Goa.
