Goan HRs run for armed forces
PANAJI: Around 20 HR professionals from reputed organizations from various parts of Goa participated in the 'Run for Jawaan' 5 km marathon organised at Panaji by Event Basket in association with all Goa Ex-Servicemen Welfare Association as a mark of respect for the armed forces and the martyrs.
The idea of HRs participating in the event was given by Priya Shetye, HR at Marpol. Dattaraj Samant, HR at Medispray, Kishan Pednekar, HR at MRF, Ashwini Patwardhan, HR at Goa Thermostatic and Mubina Shaikh, HR at SMG Group were the event coordinators.
Five copies of HRs Salute Indian Armed Forces booklet containing messages of gratitude from over 90 HRs from various parts of India were handed over to ex-servicemen and Army officials at the event by Goan HRs under the courtesy of M D Bichu, founder & director of PYRO ELECTRIC, a group of companies based in Goa.
