Margao
In the fourth round of his “Khushal Kalyan Yatra”, Governor P S Sreedharan Pillai visited Margao, Assolna, Benaulim, Varca and Fatorda on Wednesday, accompanied by First Lady Rita Sreedharan Pillai.
Since taking charge in 2021, he has held several outreach yatras across Goa.
The yatra began at Lohia Maidan, where he laid a wreath and was welcomed by local leaders.
He then visited the Jain Mandir in Margao and Dr Julio Menezes’ ancestral house in Assolna.
In Benaulim, he toured the Goa Chitra museums.
At Varca Church, he was received by the Parish Priest. The Governor and First Lady also visited temples and a masjid in Margao and Fatorda, praying for peace and well-being of all.
