The Goa government has initiated a single-solution through a centralised e-auction portal to facilitate online auctioning needs of its various departments and corporations.
The Info Tech Corporation of Goa Limited (ITG) has initiated a process to roll out Electronic Auction (E-Auction) as per the requirements of various departments of the government. The solution is expected to help various Government of Goa entities including Government Departments, Corporations, and Autonomous Bodies to conduct different types of auctions electronically.
According to the ITG, the customised software will be used by Goa Housing Board to conduct auctions of plots, flats, etc, Goa Electricity Department to conduct auction of scrap generated of transformers, wires, conductors, etc.
The Kadamba Transport Corporation Limited will adopt the system to conduct the auction of old buses and machineries while the Goa Waste Management Corporation to conduct auction of materials like old plants, equipment, machinery, vehicles, furniture and fixtures, etc.
