Groups of tourists clash with each other at Arambol

Five persons were injured when three groups clashed with each other at Titta-Arambol on Sunday evening.

According to reports, the incident occurred at about 6.30 pm when two different groups of tourists were travelling in two jeeps, which collided with each other at Titta. Both the groups were involved in clashes, disrupting traffic.  
Sources further informed that some motorcycle pilots, who were nearby, intervened, but the two groups of tourists allegedly assaulted five motorcycle pilots, who sustained minor injuries.  Sources said locals apprehended the tourists and informed the police.
