While Congress is yet to announce its candidate in Shiroda, the candidate of Goa Suraksha Manch Santosh Satarkar has started his campaign from Bethora.
Santosh Satarkar, known as a sincere person, says that he is positive to win the election. “I am receiving positive response from voters of Shiroda constituency,” Satarkar told The Goan.
He said that his election campaign has started and one by one all areas of Shiroda will be covered. The local leaders of GSM too have faith in their candidate and people of Shiroda.
Harshad Dewari, local leader of GSM, told The Goan that the response they are getting is tremendous. “We are really getting good support as we go to the people,” he said.
Last week, during the election office opening at Shiroda, GSM had cleared that they want clean politics and the defectors should be sent back home.
GSM president Subhash Velingkar, who has served in educational field in Shiroda, has lot of respect in Shiroda constituency. This too may help GSM to achieve their target.
