GU revises fee structure

The Goa University via a circular earlier this month, has revised the fee structure that students from affiliated colleges, and the University, have to pay for various things including examinations, re-evaluation and convocation.

Following a meeting of the Academic Council in September this year, the University has decided to up the fees by a certain percentage this year, as is the case annually.

The examination registration fee for professional and non-professional courses at the undergraduate and post-graduate exam has been increased to Rs 345 for the first and subsequent appearances. In addition to that, students have to pay the fee per theory, and per practical paper depending on the year in which they’re studying.   

Fees for re-evaluation per paper at the undergraduate level for both professional and non-professional courses have been increased to Rs 580 per paper, and Rs 810 per paper at the Post-Graduate level.

For verification of marks where the provision does exist, students will have to pay Rs 180 irrespective of their level of study.   

For a provisional degree on internship training certificate, students will have to pay Rs 295.   

For the convocation degree certificate for professional courses, students will have to shell out Rs 1390, and for non-professional courses, they will have to pay Rs 810. Additional fees will be charged for posting the certificates within India, and abroad.
