The Bombay High Court at Goa has passed strictures against petitioner Kashinath Shetye taking offence to certain allegations Shetye made against a sitting judicial member of the NGT leading to the latter to weep in court.
Shetye, later in a Facebook post maintained that he continued to believe that Justice Gautam Patel who passed the strictures is one of the best judges he has encountered.
Shetye had challenged an order of the NGT which was in favour of Curlies Restaurant and in his petition has made allegations against the former judge of the Supreme Court Swatanter Kumar perhaps on account of a misconception.
The court warned Shetye to behave in the future.
