Monsoon has been active over Goa during the last 24 hour and the current weather situation is expected to continue for a few days. The Meteorological department has forecasted and issued a heavy rainfall warning for Goa from 17th to 21 September 2017.

Fomento Scholars Board backs 57 aspiring students to take competitive exams

MARGAO A total of 57 scholars have been selected to receive backing from the Fomento Scholars Board for helping them in excelling in competitive exams to enable such scholars secure admissions in the institituions of their choice. Under the Fomento Young Scholars Programme, these 57 scholars of Std VII were selected from a total of 303 students from all over Goa who had vied for this programme.
