Divisional Railway Manager Bela Meena said yoga helps build a healthy society and is not limited to physical fitness. She said it also supports mental calmness, a balanced lifestyle and better quality of life.
She added that in today’s fast-paced and stressful world, people should include yoga in their daily routine for better health and inner peace.
The session was conducted by yoga expert Nivedita Srinath from The Art of Living Foundation. Senior railway officers and staff participated.
Similar yoga sessions were also organised at major railway stations across the Hubballi Division as part of the celebrations.
