The 'Seva Jyoti Yatra' bike rally saw a large turnout as hundreds of party workers and supporters rode from Mormugao to Vasco, finally gathering for a programme at Jogger’s Park, Chicalim.
Among those leaders present at the rally included BJP National Secretary, Spokesperson, and co-incharge for Goa Anil Antony—son of former Defence Minister AK Antony—was present at the event, along with Transport Minister Mauvin Godinho, Mormugao MLA Sankalp Amonkar, and Vasco MLA Krishna Salkar.
Flagging off the event and addressing the gathering at Chicalim, Mormugao MLA Sankalp Amonkar praised the top leadership.
"Completing 25 long years as Chief Minister and Prime Minister is no small achievement. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has completely changed how the world looks at India while working directly for the common man. Here in Goa, Chief Minister Pramod Sawant is pushing development rapidly into every corner with good, honest work."
Highlighting the double-engine growth, Cabinet Minister Mauvin Godinho said: "People came out in massive numbers today because they trust PM Modi and his work over these 25 years. With PM Modi steering the country at the Centre and CM Pramod Sawant leading from the front in Goa, our state is moving ahead very fast on all fronts."
Vasco MLA Krishna Salkar pointed out the large crowd participation to demonstrate the popularity of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
“His 25-year track record of non-stop work gives us all direction. On top of that, CM Pramod Sawant is taking the government straight to the people and getting long-pending work done across Goa."
