The veneration was allowed from 5 am to 9 am and then again from 1 pm to 8 pm. The devotees were seen queuing up for the veneration during both the slots.

The church volunteers helped in registering the names of the visitors as well as sanitising their hands and recording the temperature, before allowing them entry for the veneration.

Meanwhile, even as the popular fair was missing this year, some stalls were put up on the occasion for the feast with the pilgrims and tourists taking advantage of the same. At many places, the people were seen violating the social distancing norms.
