In Goa’s history, out of six elections which were held, only on two occasions did a single party manage to get a clear mandate -- when Luizinho Faleiro achieved it with 21 seats for the Congress in 1999 and in 2012 when Manohar Parrikar helped the BJP get a simple majority.
