International fashion week from May 12

The curtain raiser for 2nd edition of international fashion week by Wild Orchid and Media Waves will be held at Mall de Goa in Porvorim on May 7 at 7.30 pm. Designer Joemy Barnett will showcase her latest collection ‘Eternity’ - a woman is a queen in her own ways.

IFW Goa is scheduled from May 12-14 at Vivanta by Taj, Panaji. The event will showcase designers from different cities. There will be supplementary events such as pop-up shops, workshops, fashion seminars and networking cocktail hours.

Barnett is a lawyer by profession who transformed her dream of being a fashion designer into reality. She completed her studies in Italian fashion school and is also an excellent hair stylist.
