Journos protest over no access to opening

PANAJI

The media fraternity comprising members of the Goa Union of Journalists, Photo-Journalists Association of Goa and Electronic Media Association has protested the denial of access to the venue of the opening ceremony of the International Film Festival of India.

The journalists were peeved and protested the decision of the I&B Ministry's Directorate of Film Festivals to sell the broadcast rights to a private entity that blocked access to the ceremony for mainstream photographers and electronic media personnel.
