Three tourists from Karnataka had a lucky escape after Drishti lifeguards rescued them from choppy waters off Calangute beach on June 28.

MAPUSAr rThe tourists, who are in their early 20s, went into the sea despite several warnings from the lifeguards on duty, and soon enough were found struggling in the waters, stated a handout from Drishti Services. rThe lifeguard on duty, Sarvesh Veluskar immediately rushed to the spot after relaying a distress signal to his colleagues. Soon, lifeguards Vithal Chorlekar and Vinod Salelkar rushed in to assist in the rescue operation. TGN
