The results of the 10th Tiatr ‘B’ Group Competition 2024-25, organised by Kala Academy highlight various performances and individual achievements. The first prize for Best Performance was not awarded, while the second prize of ₹40,000 went to "Dhoronn" by Pink Curtain, Merces, Tiswadi, and the third prize of ₹30,000 was given to "Ek Neketr Palouta" by Amigos De Borda Entertainers, Margao. A consolation prize of ₹20,000 was awarded to "Tempa Pormonnem, Mateak Khurponnem" by Menino Jesus Kala Association, Chinchinim.
In the Individual Categories, the Best Acting (Male) first prize was not awarded, but the second prize of Rs. 2000 went to Gabriel Crasto for Rocky-Xezapai in "Ek Neketr Palouta". Rs. 3000 for best Acting (Female) was won by Valency D’Souza for her role as Janice in "Dhoronn", followed by a Rs. 2000 prize to Savannah Mascarenhas for "Divorce Invitation". The Best Negative Role award of Rs. 3000 went to Casiano Edward D’Souza for his role as Denver in "Dhoronn", while the second prize of Rs. 2000 was given to Jenevie Vaz for her role as Natalin in "Dubav". The Best Comedian awards for both male and female categories were not given.
In the child artist category, Lawson Colaco won Rs. 1000 for Best Child Artiste (Male) for his role as Sunny in "Ek Neketr Palouta", while the female category was not given. Rs. 5000 for Best Direction was awarded to Sachin Shantaram Chowgule for "Dhoronn", followed by Rs. 4000 to Francisco Xavier Pereira for "Ek Neketr Palouta". The Best Setting award of Rs. 2,500 went to Romeo Colaco for "Ek Neketr Palouta", Best Light Effects of Rs. 2,500 to Tulshidas Khedekar for "Dhoronn*, and Best Music (Band) was won by Senon Silvestre D’Souza & Troupe; Manuelino Cruz Francisco, Roque Fernandes,
Normon Cardozo, Crusandino Pires and Nolvert Cota for "Aiz Mhaka, Falea Tuka". Selvyn J. C. Braganca – Tiatr “Dhoronn”, Theodore Alvares, Bernardo Cardoz, Leander Mascarenhas, Francis Xavier Azavedo, Antonio Azaved received merit certificates for their contribution to "Dhoronn".
Best Make-up, Best Costumes, and Best Background Music awards were not given. In the singing categories, Rs. 1000 for Best Male Singer (Solo) was awarded to Nazareth Goudinho for "Dubav", while Xavier Mascarenhas won Rs. 500 for second place for "Divorce Invitation". Rs. 1000 for Best Female Singer was won by Jensina Pereira for "Ek Neketr Palouta", followed by Rs. 500 by Jival Fernandes for "Aiz Mhaka, Falea Tuka". Ivy Pereira won Rs. 1000 for Best Comedy Solo (Female) for "Tempa Pormonnem, Mateak Khurponnem", while the male category was not awarded. Best Child Singer (Male) award of Rs. 500 went to Nathan Emmanuel Fernandes for "Dubav", and Best Child Singer (Female) was won by Delilah Peter Lobo for "Dhoronn".
Rs. 2000 for Best Choral Cantar Singing was awarded to "Dhoronn", performed by Delilah Peter Lobo, Shefali D’Souza, Joao D’Souza, and Denis D’Souza. Rs. 1000 for Best Duet was won by "Mobile" from "Ek Neketr Palouta", performed by Victor D’Cunha & Aloma Savia Dias, while Rs. 1000 for Best Duo went to "Goychin Ruchik Follam", performed by Chelsea Paes & Siya Gomes. Rs. 1,500 for Best Trio was won by "Vell Dhi" from "Ek Neketr Palouta", performed by Skyla Moraes, Maizel Fernandes & Jensina Pereira. Best Quartet or Quintet of Rs. 2000 was awarded to "Maim" from "Dhoronn", performed by Evola Elizabeth Couto, Celeste Pereira, Tracy Dias, and Aaron Colaco.
The Best Script and first and second prizes were not awarded, while the Best Lyrics award of Rs. 1000 went to Fr. Bolmax Pereira for "Tiger Reserve" from "Tempa Pormonnem, Mateak Khurponnem". The competition was judged by William Fernandes, Ashwin D’Souza, and Sharon Mazarello.
