KRCL strengthens industry ties at suppliers’ meet

Konkan Railway Corporation Limited (KRCL) organised a Business Suppliers’ Meet in Navi Mumbai on March 23.

Around 130 stakeholders and industry partners attended the event, showing KRCL’s effort to build strong and transparent business relationships.

The meet was chaired by CMD Santosh Kumar Jha, in the presence of Independent External Monitors Meenakshi Mishra and Manoj Kumar Chhabra. It provided a useful platform for open discussion and cooperation between KRCL and its partners.

The programme focused on improving collaboration, simplifying tender processes, and addressing operational issues. KRCL also highlighted its commitment to transparency and efficiency.

The event included presentations and interactive sessions on key topics such as tender procedures (goods, works and services), vendor registration, payment processes including GST issues, and new business opportunities with KRCL.

Special attention was given to supporting MSME vendors, encouraging participation of women and SC/ST entrepreneurs, and addressing concerns related to scrap disposal and grievance redressal.

Participants welcomed the initiative and expressed confidence in continued cooperation, reinforcing KRCL’s aim to build strong partnerships and a transparent, growth-focused business environment.
