72 Sr citizens, 22 PwDs participate in poll process
Poll officials drafted for the job of home voting in the Ponda by-poll.

Around 114 voters, including 72 senior citizens aged 85 years and above, besides 22 Persons with Disabilities, cast their votes on Day One of home voting which commenced on Sunday.
Besides, around 20 officials drafted for poll duties have cast postal ballots at the facilitation centre.
South Goa district Electoral Officer, Egna Cleetus, IAS, who is closely monitoring the ongoing election process informed that polling teams are visiting residences to facilitate voting at the doorstep, ensuring a smooth, accessible, and inclusive electoral process.
She said a total of 114 persons have cast their votes on Day One of the commencement of home voting and voting via postal ballots of the three-day exercise.
The breakup is as follows: Today’s total PB cast in Ponda A.C. votes cast at facilitation Centre: 20.
Home voting AVSC (85+): 72 and home voting AVPD (PwD): 22. Total: 114
