After recently launching a Mapusa-Mangaluru interstate bus service, the Kadamba Transport Corporation (KTC) has now stated three more interstate routes. KTC buses will now ply along Vasco-Indi (Karnataka), Panaji-Vijaydurg (Karnataka) and Panaji-Malvan (Maharashtra).
These new services were inaugurated by Transport Minister Mauvin Godinho and KTC Chairman and Navelim MLA Ulhas Tuenkar, in the presence of KTC Vice-Chairman Kritesh Gaonkar, Director Kapil Sardesai, Managing Director Rohan Kaskar, General Manager Mahendra Pednekar, DTO & U Pereira, Director of Transport P Pravimal Abhishek (IAS), other officers.
The bus service between Vasco and Indi will proceed Chicalim, Birla, Zuarinagar, Cortalim, Bambolim, Panaji, Porvorim, Mapusa, Assonora, Bicholim, Sankhali, Chorla, Belagavi, Lokapur and Vijayapura (Bijapur). This bus will leave from Vasco at 5.15 pm and from Indi at 4.30 pm.
The bus service between Panaji and Vijaydurg will proceed via Porvorim, Mapusa, Colvale, Dhargal, Pernem, Banda, Sawantwadi, Kudal, Kasal, Kankavali and Talere. This bus will leave from Panaji at 12.30 pm and from Vijaydurg at 7 am.
The bus service between Panaji and Malvan bus service, which was suspended during the Covid pandemic, will proceed via Porvorim, Mapusa, Dhargal, Pernem, Malewad-Sawantwadi railway station, and Kasal. This bus will leave from Panaji bus station at 2.45 pm and from Malvan at 7.50 am.
Transport Minister Mauvin Godinho has appealed to passengers to avail of these new interstate bus services from KTC.
