Lady injured in accident

A 28-year-old lady was injured in an accident reported at Dando-Navelim on November 28.

According to police, the incident occurred when the motorcyclist, one Hari Singh who was riding his motorcycle, knocked down the victim at Dando-Navelim, thereby injuring her in the process.

Margao police have registered an offence under Sections 279 and 337 of IPC. Further investigations are in progress.

Meanwhile, in another similar accident reported at Bainfol-Ambelim, when the driver of a Bolero knocked down a 45-year-old lady at Bainfol-Ambelim on November 30. The lady was grievously injured in the accident.

Cuncolim police registered an offence under Sections 279 and 338 of IPC.

Also, another accident was reported at Paddi-Quepem, in which a driver was injured when he lost control over his truck which swerved and turned turtle in the incident which occurred on December 1.
