Lekhraj bags laurels in 2016
PANAJI: Lekhraj Ladu Surlakar, a student of Std 7 of Dr K B Hedgewar High School Cujira, Bambolim has excelled in Art subject in 2016.
He bagged the 1st place at drawing competition organized by 'Claps India' in Panaji. He bagged the 1st place in the drawing competition organised by Shree Vithoba Devasthan Mala Panaji and the 1st place at Mahalaxmi Devasthan Panaji organised during Ganeshotsav. He came i third at the Goa Reserve Police Althino contest and first at a contest by Porvorim Police. He won the second place at the Phonda Ganeshotsav. He also won the 1st prize at the Navneet Youth Organisation.
He topped the drawing competition by Akhil Gomantak Nabhik Samaj, at Old Goa and came in third at Sakal Balmitra; 2nd at Shree Samarth University Satara. In the 'Junior Herald' contest he bagged the 1st prize and the first place at the All Goa Artists Association art competition. He also won the Goa Science Centre contest.
He bagged 2nd prize at Balbhavan, Merces; 3rd prize at Big Foot Lotoulim and first prize at Ramayan Mahabharat Parichay Scheme. He also won the 'Save Water Save Earth' contest organised by Central Ground Water Board. Lekhraj is all set to perform at the National level.
