The Fatorda police have arrested a resident of Maharashtra after he was found in possession of narcotics at the fish market on late Monday evening.
Fatorda police station in-charge, PI Ditendra Naik informed that acting on a tip off that the accused, who is putting up at Madel, is likely to visit the fish market, a police team led by PSI Redkar was drafted to the market to conduct the raid.
He pointed out that the raiding party apprehended accused Omkar Chandrakari after he was found in his possession of LSD worth around Rs 40,000. The accused has since been arrested and further investigations are in progress.
