As expected, the State government on Friday effected a major reshuffle in police department ahead of Lok Sabha polls transferring 9 Deputy Superintendents of Police (DySPs), 46 Police Inspectors (PIs) and 101 Police Sub Inspectors (PSIs) with immediate effect.
The following are the new postings of DySPs -- Nelson Albuquerque (SDPO Ponda), Serafin Dias (SDPO Margao), Kiran Podwal (SDPO Quepem), Rajendra Raut Dessai (DySP Security Panaji), Mahesh Gaonkar (DySP Crime Branch Ribandar), Uttam Raut Dessai (SDPO Panaji), Sammy Tavares (SDPO Mapusa), Edwin Colaco (SDPO Porvorim) and Gajanan Prabhudessai (DySP PHQ Panaji).
PI Siddhanth Shirodkar has been transferred from Panaji to Crime Branch while Sudesh Naik will take over his charge from Cuncolim Police Station.
Paresh Naik is shifted from Porvorim to Crime Branch Ribandar and Vishwesh Karpe from Crime Branch to Porvorim Police Station.
Nilesh Rane has been shifted from Police Headquarters to Vasco Police Station, while Nolasco Raposo from Vasco to Calangute.
Jivba Dalvi has been sent to Anti Narcotic Cell, Suraj Halarnkar from ANC to Ponda, Harischandra Madkaikar from Ponda to Pernem, Sandesh Chodankar from Pernem to Verna and Shailesh Narvekar from Mormugao to Konkan Railway.
Sudesh Narvekar has been shifted from Bicholim to Canacona, Deepak Pednekar from SB Panaji to Bicholim, Shivram Vaigankar from Valpoi to ATS Panaji, Sagar Ekoskar from Sanguem to Valpoi, Wilson D’Souza from Siolim Coastal Security to Cuncolim PS, Tushar Lotlikar from Mapusa to Margao town PS, Kapil Nayak from Margao to Mapusa, Rahul Parab from Crime Branch to Colva, and Filomeno Costa from Colva to Bicholim.
Also, Chetan Patil has been moved from Anjuna to Crime Branch, Sanjay Dalvi from Bicholim to SB Panaji, Navlesh Desai from Fatorda to Anjuna PS, Shaikh Salim from ATS Panaji to Fatorda, Rajendra Prabhudesai from Canacona to Economic Offences Cell, Panaji, Prajyot Fadte from EOC to Collem, Ravindra Desai from Curchorem to Dabolim, Roy Pereira from Vasco to Quepem and Pravin Pawar from SPCR to Mormugao PS.
