Ministers asked to meet public at ministerial block every Wednesday

PANAJI

As a part of its efforts to improve coordination between the party and the government, Chief Minister Pramod Sawant on Thursday directed all his ministers to be available for MLAs and party workers every week to hear their grievances and suggestions.

Sawant was speaking to media persons after chairing the BJP legislative wing and party executive committee meeting in Panaji.

He said that the Ministers will have to visit the party office at least once a week to ensure better governance as the same will help both the party and the government in understanding the problems.

Sawant said that it has been decided that all the Ministers would be available for MLAs in their respective office at the ministerial block on every Wednesday. On Tuesday, every week, at least one minister will be available at the party head office.

“The move will work as a link between the government, the party and its workers and also the general public,” he added.
