The Cuncolim police have registered an offense of kidnapping after a complaint was lodged by a woman that her minor daughter has been kidnapped from her lawful guardianship.
In her complaint, the complainant, a resident of Cuncolim, but a native of Chhattisgarh, stated her minor daughter was kidnapped on February 28 by an accused person from Taleigao, a native of Karnataka.
A FIR under section 137 (2) & Sec. 8(2) of Goa Children Act has been registered against the accused, police said in the complaint.
