MLAs pledge to fight for Dabolim airport

PANAJI
Benaulim MLA Venzy Viegas has assured the public that if they support and elect the Opposition in the 2027 elections, they will work to bring back Dabolim Airport for the people. He criticised the BJP government, suggesting they are taking revenge on South Goans after the Lok Sabha results by diverting all flights to Mopa Airport. Viegas promised to create a scheme to maintain both airports.

Curtorim MLA also voiced his support, questioning the past government’s actions regarding Dabolim Airport. He emphasised that it is the responsibility of successive governments to take necessary actions and promised to continue the fight for Dabolim Airport.

The Leader of the Opposition accused the Goa government of wanting to close down the Dabolim Airport in South Goa.
