PANAJI: Following the Central guidelines of Unlock 4.0, all Goa Muslim Jamats have decided to open mosques from September 1 but with strict social distancing norms.
The mosques will be open for residents living close to the place of worship and five times namaz will be held but religious gatherings and Friday namaz will still be banned. The committee has been told to take responsibility of social distancing norms and install touch free hand wash machines and hand sanitizers.
