Goan fishermen finally finding a place on the mural on the wholesale fish market building.

Finally, Goemkarponn resembled at the wholesale fish market building as the mural depicting Goan fishermen made its presence on the wall of the redeveloped wholesale fish market.
Endangered fish species such as whales and dolphins painted on the mural have made an exit to pave way for the painting of fishermen with fishing boats and nets on the mural. The government and the Goa State Infrastructure Development Corporation (GSIDC) have acceded to the demand raised by Fatorda MLA and Goa Forward chief Vijai Sardesai demanding replacement of the mural with painting of Goan fishermen.
The Fatorda MLA, who is a member of the SGPDA had expressed strong reservations over the painting of endangered fish species such as whales and dolphins on the mural.
