Saloni Utagi has emerged as Goa topper in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (Undergraduate) 2026, securing a 99.84 percentile and an All India Rank (AIR) of 3,033 in the results declared by the National Testing Agency (NTA) late on Thursday.
With this feat, Saloni has also become one of just 13 female candidates across the country to top their respective State or Union Territory in NEET-UG 2026. The NEET-UG 2026 results showed that women continued to outperform their male counterparts, with nearly 58 per cent of the 11.21 lakh qualified candidates being female.
Nationally, Aryan Gupta of Punjab and Panshul Bansal of Haryana secured the joint All India Rank 1 with 715 marks out of 720 in the revised NEET-UG 2026 results announced by the NTA. With NEET results being out, the admissions to NEET based courses will commence in Goa Medical College (GMC), pharmacy colleges and other related courses.
