PANAJI
New BJP block committees have been elected across different constituencies in the State.
PORVORIM
The announcement of the new Porvorim BJP Mandal committee was made in the presence of Tourism Minister and Porvorim MLA Rohan Khaunte, and Porvorim Mandal Prabhari Rupesh Kamat.
The members of the new BJP Mandal Committee for the Porvorim Constituency are: Vinit Parab (Mandal President), Gupesh Naik, Sandip Salgaonkar, and Dattaram Redkar (Vice-Presidents), Ashok Shetty and Narayan Naik (General Secretaries), Vijay Dalvi, Marina Moraes, and Vishranti Desai (Secretaries) and Reena Fernandes (Treasurer).
CANACONA
The Canacona BJP mandal has announced a 31-member block committee headed by Block President Prabhakar Gaonkar.
The announcement was made in the presence of Speaker and Canacona MLA Ramesh Tawadkar on Tuesday.
Outgoing Canacona BJP mandal President Vishal Dessai, General Secretary Divakar Pagui, South District Vice president Mahesk Naik were also present when the block president Prabhakar Gaonkar read out the names of the new block executive members.
The new committee comprises Shabha Naik Gaonkar, Vinda Satarkar and Chandrakant Sudhir (vice-presidents), Divakar Pagui and Sanjeev Tilva (General Secretaries), Ashok Kust Gaonkar, Anjali Gaonkar and Tanvi Komarpant (Secretaries) and Kushwant Bhagat (Treasurer).
There are 21 members included in the Executive committee of Canacona BJP Mandal.
While stating that BJP is always known for its organisational skill, Tawadkar congratulated the new team and informed a formal installation function would be held shortly.
PERNEM
The new Pernem BJP Mandal committee was announced in the presence of Pernem MLA Pravin Arlekar.
The new committee comprises Siddhesh Pednekar (President), Subodh Mahale, Sangita Gavkar and Vinita Mandrekar (Vice Presidents), Devanand Gawade and Usha Nagvekar (General Secretary), Suryakant Toraskar, Tukaram Harmalkar, Pratiksha Arolkar (Secretary) and Vrushali Naik (Treasurer), while the executive committee members are Vijay Mopkar, Swati Gavandi, Manmohan Sawant, Dattaram Parab, Santosh Mahale Prabhakar Parab Chhaya Shetye, Gajanan Naik Navnath Naik, Udesh Tulskar, Sunil Malik, Gurudas Kalekar, Ruchira Malik, Siddhi Raul, Ramchandra Parab, Evelyn Rodrigues, Mahesh Prabhudesai, Vishnu Salgaokar, Sunil Mulgaonkar, Divya Naik and Gopal Naik.
