Speaker Ramesh Tawadkar inaugurated the new transformer at Karai-Tamnem.
CANACONA: A new 200 KVA transformer and 1-km-long Low Tension (LT) line network, worth Rs 29.52 lakh, were inaugurated at Karai-Tamnem in Loliem-Polem village panchayat on Sunday.
Speaking at the event, Speaker and Canacona MLA Ramesh Tawadkar said, “These upgrades will solve problems of low voltage, power cuts, and electricity fluctuations in the border areas of Loliem-Polem.”
The electricity department completed the installation work ahead of schedule. Canacona Assistant Engineer Govind Bhagat received praise from the Speaker for the timely execution of the project.
