'Not only in PWD, everyone in govt involved'

Stating that the job scam is not related to a single department like PWD, the Goa Forward Party’s Canacona candidate Prashant Naik alleged that everyone in the government is involved.
He was addressing a news conference to state that the Goa Forward Party has stepped up its campaign in Canacona, having covered four village panchayats in the taluka.
“We have covered four villages of Agonda, Shrishthal, Loliem and Poinguinim, meeting every household in these villages and understanding their issues and problems,” said Naik.
“The Parivartan Yatra will continue on Tuesday at Gaondongrim, followed by Cotigao and by first week of January, we will complete Canacona municipal areas, which together makes up for 16,000 electorate.”
“People are eagerly awaiting a change of face and party in Canacona constituency,” he claimed.
Asked to comment on Panaji MLA Babush Monserrate’s allegation of a job scam, Naik said: “This job scam is not related to a single PWD ministry, everyone in the government is involved.”
GF executive member Vikas Bhagat said the Goa Forward will file a complaint against the job scam and demanded justice to a youth from Canacona who was allegedly duped by a man from Sankhali of Rs 5 lakh after promising a government Job.
“A complaint has been submitted to the police and even the chief minister was informed about it. However, no one is initiating any action against the culprit nor has the money been refunded to the unemployed youth,” said Bhagat.
Others present at the news conference were Remy Borges and Umesh Tubki.
