Mega prizes of 15 cars and five two-wheelers, including cash prizes, for 20 lucky winners

Following in the footsteps of Ganesh Mandals in Sanguem, Quepem, Curchorem and Sanvordem, a social welfare organisation has also decided to float donation coupons with mega prizes comprising 15 cars and five two-wheelers, including cash prizes, for the 20 lucky winners.
The Adivasi Sangatna Kepem (ASK) has decided to float 1 lakh donation coupons, with each coupon priced at Rs 500.
The donation coupons will be launched by Tribal Welfare Minister Ramesh Tawadkar at a special function organised in the Quepem Municipal Garden square on November 9 at 10 am, in the presence of Social Welfare Minister Subhash Phal Dessai, Opposition Leader Yuri Alemao, Goa Forward Party President and Fatorda MLA Vijay Sardessai, Curchorem MLA Nilesh Cabral, Quepem MLA Altone DCosta, former Dy CM Chandrakant Kavlekar and others.
Explaining the purpose of floating the donation coupons with mega prizes, ASK President Caetano Carvalho stated that the organisation has been organising a number of social activities such as Lok Ustav, felicitation of meritorious student, seminars, awareness meetings etc.
“In order to conduct these programmes, we have to approach donors or well-wishers for donations every time. To overcome the financial issue and to plan for a permanent venue to conduct our activities, we have planned to come out with donation coupons,” stated Carvalho.
He informed that the mega prizes for the donation coupons consist of 15 four-wheelers and five two-wheelers.
Most of the taxes required to be paid on the vehicles will be borne by the Sangatna.
The prizes consist of Innova Crysta-7 and cash of Rs 11.5 lakh (first), Grand Vitara Delta and cash of Rs 6 lakh (2nd), Curve Pure+S1.2 and cash of Rs 6 lakh (3rd), Nexon Creative 1.2NEW and cash of Rs 4.5 lakh (4th), Breeza VXI MT and cash of Rs 4.2 lakh (5th), Toyota Traisor S+MT and cash of Rs 4 lakh (6th), Fronx Delta+MT and cash of Rs 3.7 lakh (7th), Dzire VXI MT and cash of Rs 3.4 lakh (8th), Punch Adventure+ and cash of Rs 3.2 lakh (9th), Baleno Delta MT and cash of Rs 3.1 lakh (10th), Swift VXI MT and cash of Rs 3.1 lakh (11th), Ignis Delta MT and cash of Rs 2.8 (12th), Wagon R VXI and cash of Rs 2.7 lakh (13th), Alto K10 VXI MT and cash of Rs 2.35 lakh (14th), Spresso VXI MT and cash of Rs 2.3 lakh (15th) and five two-wheelers.
The date of draw will be at Copelabhat Deao in Quepem on January 18, 2026 at 5 pm.
Carvalho has appealed to people to purchase the donation coupons and to help ASK achieve its desired goal.
The donation coupons floated by the Ganeshotsav mandals in Sanguem, Quepem, Curchorem and Sanvordem have been generating huge interest, especially with the jaw-dropping prizes at each of these donation coupons.
The four Ganeshotsav mandals are located within a radius of barely around 12 kms and collectively, they offered this year a staggering bonanza of prizes comprising 2 flats, 53 cars, and 17 two-wheelers, in addition to cash prizes.
