Over 450 Students Felicitated at Grand Nuvem Constituency Academic Excellence Awards Ceremony
454 students from Nuvem Constituency who successfully passed their SSC and HSSC examinations were felicitated at a function held at Verna. The event was organised by Together for Nuvem Foundation, an initiative of Lyndon Monteiro, in association with the United Club of Verna, and witnessed an overwhelming response, with nearly 1,400 attendees.
The felicitation ceremony honoured 316 SSC students and 138 HSSC students, recognising their hard work, perseverance and academic achievements. The function was graced by Fr Lawrence Fernandes, SFX, Director and Superior of the Pilar Pilgrim Centre, Goa, as Chief Guest, while social worker, entrepreneur and public policy professional Lyndon Monteiro attended as the Guest of Honour. The programme was presided over by Luis J Vaz, President of the United Club of Verna and recipient of the Bhausaheb Bandodkar State Award for Physical Education.
Addressing the gathering, the dignitaries congratulated the students on reaching an important milestone in their educational journey and encouraged them to continue pursuing excellence with dedication, discipline and humility.
