One Swine Flu case confirmed

A woman is reported to have tested positive for Swine Flu and another patient is suspected to have contracted the same disease, with both patients being quarantined at the Goa Medical College Hospital in Bambolim.

the goan I networkrPANAJIrrSpeaking to The Goan, State Epidemiologist Dr Utkarsh Betodkar confirmed one case of Swine Flu at the GMC hospital, while the second case was not yet confirmed. rHe explained that Swine Flu cases are prevalent during this season, but added that the number of cases of Swine Flu are far lower than in other parts of the country. r“All precautions are being taken to treat patients with Swine Flu and people need not panic over these cases,” Dr Betodkar said.
